Super Training is a method of training that allows the player to train their Pokemon on the touch screen. Mega Evolutions are transformations that a select few Pokemon can achieve. These would later also become features in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. With the release of Pokemon X and Y, features such as Mega Evolution and Super Training were introduced to the games. This system was introduced in Pokemon Black and White. Triple battles are a battle system where the player can send out three Pokemon to fight. The fifth generation also introduced triple battles. In this game, though, you can use them infinitely. The Technical Machines could only be used once prior to the fifth generation. They can also be crucial to progressing through the games. These moves sometimes cannot be learned through other means. The TM, or Technical Machines, are a system used to teach Pokemon new moves. One of the main things Pokemon Omega Ruby pulled from the fifth generation is the unlimited TM usage. This means Pokemon can now use moves of wider variety. On the other hand, the special category has types such as fire, water, psychic, etc. The physical category features types such as poison, ghost, and flying.
These two categories determine the type of damage a Pokemon deals. The fourth generation of Pokemon games introduced a physical/special split. There’s also a few new aspects that are worthy of mention for Pokemon Omega Ruby 3DS ROM. This, of course, doesn’t mean that they haven’t retained their original features. However, most of the new features are available in this game thanks to the changes from later generations. It’s a fun little side quest specific to the 3DS remakes of Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, and definitely worth checking out! Game Features of Pokemon Omega RubyĪs we mentioned before, both games came out on the 3DS. This requires capturing the legendary Pokemon Rayquaza. Upon meeting Zinnia, Steven Stone, and Professor Cozmo, the protagonist has a new quest: to stop a meteor from crashing into the planet. The Delta Episode side quests are a new addition to the 3DS version of the game, introducing new characters and objectives. Now it’s up to the protagonist (that’s you!) to stop their scheme and prevent Primal Groudon’s power being used for evil. Team Magma means to use this ability to create new landmasses and dry up oceans with the intent of allowing mankind to progress. It is said that Primal Groudon creates new land with each step it takes. The Pokemon in question is Primal Groudon, a massive dinosaur-like Pokemon filled with energy that takes the shape of magma. Along the way, you encounter Team Magma, a group who wish to use the power of the legendary Pokemon to shape the world as they desire. Encountering the VillainsĪfter the ordeal with Professor Birch, the protagonist travels around the Hoenn region intending to complete their Pokedex and defeat the gym leaders of the Hoenn Pokemon League.
Of course, your chosen Pokemon assists you in defending Professor Birch. You begin your Pokemon journey by saving Professor Birch from a wild Pokemon, where you choose one of three starters: Treecko, Torchic, or Mudkip. The player starts by arriving at their family’s new estate in Littleroot Town, a village situated on the Hoenn island. The player character also tries to stop a criminal organization’s efforts to take over the region. They are a group of four very skilled Pokemon trainers. The main objective is to catch all the Pokemon in the game and defeat the Elite Four. Pokemon Omega Ruby’s protagonist is, obviously, you.
